Sewage in garden, again, need advice to get Thames Water to do something

Thanks for the suggestion.
Last time the flood happened they sent out a CCTV team. All they did was make excuses why they couldn't complete the survey...
Pipe too small.
Pipe dirty.
Need to be coming upstream not downstream.
There's a pattern emerging here which is not giving a d*mn.
I'll keep your suggestion in mind.Pants0 -
I would give them another chance to do something about it this time, if they don't respond, in future you could think about contacting the newspapers/watchdog type program, this option isn't to be taken lightly as it will entail you being identified and probably having your picture taken next to the sewage
:rotfl:
exhaust all over avenues first but if you get really desperate its an option, your story has more impact due to the canal.0 -

Yes, Rip off Britain has exactly these types of stories and so would probably take up your case. They also often engage their own experts on your behalf.0 -
well it reads like they keep trying to fix the result not the underlying cause. do they appear to have any idea of the cause?0

You've hit the nail on the head. Yes, they do have an idea of the real issue, it's a manhole/connection further downstream that they think may have collapsed.
I had a call from a guy from Thames Water today who is coming to visit tomorrow, he appears to have taken ownership, (hallelujah). He did say that there are already 2 case managers who have been looking into it since my original complaints, he also said the letter from my MP meant it had been raised to quite a substantial level within the company.
I asked him why nobody had bothered to call me and let me know this, he couldn't tell me. I'll keep you updated.
Have a look at my video of the aftermath:

I feel for you.
Glad the MP letter appears to have had some impact. We shouldn’t have to use them but it does seem that they have more clout than us mere mortals.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
