I had such great plans... But, went for my bath this morning and had to jump out it, conditioner still in my hair and was a little unwell.

I put washing over the radiators.

And got a very interesting phone call and it seems i am off on an adventure on Monday!!! I'm so excited!
  • Ooh - I'm excited - I'm going to the theatre tonight to see Dr Doolittle - I loved that book when I was a kid.

It's a combined birthday pressie for me, Mom and Sis (can you imagine my poor dad when we were growing up - a Virgo wife and two Virgo daughters - poor bloke!)

Will stay over at my mum's tonight as I'm babysitting my niece early tomorrow - Dizzykidz here I come.:j

Have a good evening lovelies and hope that everyone who is feeling poorly/mice infested or all slugged out has a better time tomorrow

    :hello:
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Hi everyone, been away with one thing or another today. Went to my course and i'm really enjoying it, then went and got curtains for the living room to keep the heat in, then throw in school runs and phone calls.
DD is away to GFS tonight so have to lift her very soon. Put some old quilts that i had under the kids sheets in there bed to give them a little more warmth at night, boy it was cold this morning. Plan to get on with list tonight as have someone calling out tomorrow morning about DD's room, i've roped OH into helping so should get a good bit done, so i'll update later.

Tracy she is fine couldn't wait to go to school this morning so she could tell her teacher.laughing-smiley-014.gif
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Evening folks, on my ownsome this evening (bliss..) so Flying time to come. I thought I'd have missed Masterbedroom day yesterday but pleased I don't have to play catch up - I rarely do the spare room anyhow.
Everywhere is still pretty tidy. I'm having to keep it that way this week 'cos the deputy church warden - a humourless nosey sort ( strike me down but it's true) is bringing the boiler inspector round sometime when I'm at work. I rent from the church next door btw. So not much to do thankfully.
In a bit of a slump today, started well but I had contact from an ex which kind of threw me and the upshot was floods of tears by the time I got in tonight. Hoping it was just the trigger I needed for PMTears and not going to upset my new relationship. Hey ho.

Rach, I hope the interview was ok, I was thinking of you I just didn't get a chance to wish you luck.
Sexymouse, good luck with your applications too.
Clarkey, hurrah and phew for your 7 week scan!
Nearlynewbie, have a happy hols on Friday.
Tinsel, I think your wise to minimise your flying time when you need to be tip top for drinking time. That's what I'd do too. Have fun!
LJD, hmmm, slugs.. I have no idea and can't say I've come across that one before. And maybe never again.
Tiamai, now you're being enigmatic, have a great adventure though!
And Dusty, I'm envious of your crackling fire. The kind of mood I'm in it's making me tearful and nostalgic again.

Oh, pull yourself together Solway. Go change the bed.
Off to do some distracting stuff. Back in half an hour for some company. I'm in a right mopey mood sorry..

Why did I think it would be a good idea to repot the plants on the kitchen sink? Plenty of space, and easy to rinse off I thought.
But no, I ended up spilling soil all over the kitchen floor!!

It's all clean again now, 3 plants have bigger homes, and the 3 dead ones have been thrown away.
Gunna relax infront of 'Who's line is it anyway', then jump in the shower before work. I might get round to the dishes if I have time. If not they can wait til the morning.

Hurrah for the bottom of the paperwork pile, Shirleypark!

Bed changed, WM on, vacc'd and dusted in the bedroom and the hall. Not bad for a half hour. Need to S&S livingroom and kitchen and re-vase some flowers I had given me last week which I completely forgot to boast about :D some ironing to do too and a teensy bit of paperwork before I can properly sit down for the evening.
I might pop back again later.
