Time up, need to go and get DS3. Forgot I have his consultation at 4:40, hope they are not running late as that is too close to tea time.

Will be back when they are all in bed.

    Good afternoon all!!
I've just got my carcass out of bed (on nights) and having a quick read before starting.

 Barely slept a wink last night because for some reason jerry and all his mousie friends decided to invade my flat last night:eek:
I've never had a problem with them before, though i do live in a 100yr old converted warehouse near the shore so i guessed there would be some somewhere but i'd never seen one.
Any suggestions for getting rid would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Have ordered some mousetraps on t'internet so they should arrive today:j

I have a plug in sonic mouse repellant, costs about £20 thou it's no good if you have pet mice or rats. It doesn't affect cats of dogs.
The sonic pulse goes thru the walls and gives the mice an 'itchy' feeling, they can't settle and soon leave. It usually takes about a month to see any effect, if they have started nesting.
It doesn't stop them coming in the house but they soon leave. I've only seen 1 since mine went in, and I caught about 15 before getting it!!

Raphael .. DON'T!!! they are really not that good.. could they not handle it if you put them on just a 'rinse' with a tiny bit of wash powder in the drum.. quick swish round then fabric conditioner and spin as normal.. it would be like one less rinse but they would have more water to rinse in? Do you not have a 30 minute wash?

Hmm, I'll have a look at my washing machine and try to decipher the dials:rotfl:. Usually I just set it on '4' for a 40% wash. I did have to do a wool wash for the first time ever last week (I bought a new jumper) and that was successful. I'm sure there is a 30 minute wash setting, I'll have a look thanks :D

    Hope everyone is ok.

They should be ok in the XL Tower the spacing I believe is 1.7cm. If you think kids are a nightmare, wait until you meet these 4, they are truely a handful.

How do I get slug off my clothes? I've washed a slug in the washing machine with my wash. How you ask? Well, washing machine is in garage and someone had given me a bag of school uniform before the summer holiday. Today I decided to wash it all and a slug had climbed in the bag. Do I attempt to scrap slug inards off all my clothes or wait for hubby to return home tonight and tell him I still feel rough and let him do it?

    Yuck!

Done no flying. Worked this morning and slept this afternoon. Central heating is on full and DD bought my duvet downstairs for me. Very cozy.
