Anyone got a link to a site to check timing belt intervals?
I can't seem to find a UK one on google.

I'm not sure there is one, most online motor factors give a disclaimer to check with the manufacturer directly.
What cars it for?0 -

Why not answer the question?
What Make / model is it?
Why not ask the local dealer.0 -
Why not look in the owners manual you have for the car? That'll detail the service schedule. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Gates have one but I don't have a link; you might try googling it. Just google your car and timing belt interval, and you should get an answer0

The problem I've found with third party (not the car manufacturers) web pages is they are not always updated or that reliable in the first place.
Manufacturers have a habit of revising their service interval recommendations every now and again especially with new engines that may not be as reliable as intended!0 -
40k-60k miles or 5 years is usually a good interval, unless timing belt technology has changed significantly.
Peugeots do have extended schedules though, some of theirs are 100k interval. Too long if you ask me.0 -
Apparently some new VW's have a lifetime belt.
You'd have to be brave.......0 -

Yeah.... just like those VW gearboxes in the early 00's that were sealed for life and became a non-serviceable item, no maintenance required..... and then all went bang.and those VW diesels that came with a fuel filter with no interval for being replaced, therefore often wasn't, leaving the car in a non-start state.
I love VW's, but boy, they've made some big calls and got them wrong in the past.0
