I have an Asus X555L laptop.
When I use it on battery, when it gets to about 60% battery, the screen starts to flicker when you try to do anything.
If I unplug/plug in the charger the screen flickers momentarily.
Must be a setting somewhere perhaps????

You could try the refresh rate, how old is the battery?
Sounds like voltage issues.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

If it works on the mains then i reckon its a power issue.
The batteries were never that great to start with.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
