    (((Hugs))) Valli.

Hang on in there Frodders. Not long to go now, and we're all rooting for you.

    - Phone call to vet to discuss Devil Cat's liveliness and to see what chance there is of a 2.00 am appointment at the animal hospital on Wednesday. I think I'm pushing it a bit ...
    - Two rooms to turn around
    - Shower room to sparkle
    - Ground floor to dsyon
    - Dentist appointment to declutter
    - Entertain the plumber
    - Deal with the tail endings of last week's list. It'll all have to be done but I'm still working on the list problem and I haven't yet quite resolved the feeling of constantly being behind myself.
    Better is good enough.

RoD ~ Room of Doom, the one room that feels like it is a permanent pit and cannot be used to its potential!

For me this was my spare bedroom/office/dumping ground. :o

I think I've cracked it. I'm going to divide my listy into 3 hours, 3 days 3 weeks, three months, 3 years. That should do it. Now I just need to set aside 3 hours to sit down and do it.

I have done the bedrooms; talked to the vet; sorted out the kitchen; delegated dealing with the plumber to OH who forgot to offer him a cup of coffee, so I've done that; trundled Kelpie again, fired off a few emails and taken a phone call from the person who was due to arrive this afternoon. She slept through Birmingham New Street and woke up at Birmingham International. She sounded moritified, but what with one thing and another that suits me because she's now arriving tomorrow. The shower room can wait and I can deal with paperwork and do some sewing later.
    Better is good enough.

    We have our cheese. :T
We buy from a stall at the monthly Farmers Market; have been doing so for years. All their cheese is made with veggie rennet, so it doesn't upset my stomach, and it's really delicious. What had happened was the stallholder wasn't going to be there in December and January, but as we're old and valued customers, he took our requirement via email and arranged to drop it off with a pal of his in a nearby village, and that's where we collected it from today, Stoke Hammond being very much closer to us than Earlswood. :D We don't have any meat or fish, so cheese is a useful basis for a lot of our meals; and Mr LW would eat cheese til the cows came home! :o

We also stopped off at S/Drug for my morphine tablets, and @ldi for milk and a few other bits. I've stocked up as far as I can, so that I don't have to do a large grocery shop while the Xmas Feeding Frenzy is on. ;) All we should need now before Xmas is more milk, and Mr LW can go and get that on his own.

Talking of a RoD - I guess mine is the "spare room" which is currently masquerading as an auxiliary larder. :D Everything is all neat and tidy in crates, though. :o
