Sorry to hear the valuation wasn't what you were hoping for, hopefully as you continue to do work this will make a difference and increase value.
Have a good day x0 -
Oh my goodness, just watched 10 things your kids need to know - it should have come with a tearjerker warning.
I need to step up to give my kids a better future!
Right best get on, thanks Mr Lewis!!

Haia, just waiting for dd to come home and then pop over to Lidl to buy a few bits for tea, payday today so I have also purchased the paint for ds bedroom and can start painting in the morning.
Had some not so good news last night, father in law diagnosed with bowel cancer and will find out more info on Monday, dh spoke to him this morning and he will have an op and have a colostomy bag fitted. Apparently he could have had it for years but has been well until the last few months, f-i-l being his usual self and brushing it off! We will see how things go but they live in South Wales so need to make sure any trips we do are planned. We are due to go over xmas period but may go down before if needed.
Finances wise, I managed to pay myself back 2 of the items for business and will pay back work and run group money tomorrow. I'm going to wait until next week to pay off the final installment of ds trip as not due until 1st November anyway.
I'm off now until next Wednesday, one day of work and then off again until the Monday although will still have volunteering work at the weekend. Can't wait to start painting, slowly making progress!

Thanks for the wishes for f-i-l, will know more on Monday but can't help worrying about his op - I haven't known him to be in hospital at all in the 25 years I've known him!
I have been busy today, went out first thing to buy bits and pieces for the from T*sco then have been painting in ds room. Second coat done on ceiling and 2 coats on 2 walls so just the other 2 walls to paint. Popped out to buy ingredients for dinner to put in the slow cooker, lovely smells of Chinese beef wafting through the house, rice is in the oven so just need to do veg.
ynab updated, so far we are well on track to have spent less than half our usual groceries shop this month which is rather pleasing but must get back into writing menus as we're still drifting, food budget does include school dinners and toiletries so doing well.
Just paid a bit to credit card, haven't paid work yet so that's still outstanding. Need to do some surveys this evening and still need to list dh laptop for sale.
Volunteering in the morning so an early night as we get up at 0630, hope it's good weather tomorrow!

An unexpected day at home, was meant to be working today and then the rest of the week off but ds was feeling poorly when we got home from long journey after visiting friends for a couple of days and in the night he was sick and had upset stomach. He is resting on the sofa now and won't be going trick or treating tonight.
Had a lovely couple of days and didn't spend much money apart from fuel, we took down food to cook a meal on Monday night so that was cheaper than going out.
I've just updated ynab for end of month and am really pleased with food costs so will continue to shop at Lidl, fuel was expensive due to work trips but will get a lot back next month. Also spending money was high due to paying first installment of dd trip, tomorrow I will pay final balance of ds trip and have also ordered dd birthday presents for next week.
Grant money is in, lots of lovely equipment to order, I've just redeemed £5 from shopping receipt site so will pay that off the credit card. Need to catch up on surveys, housework and washing today then finish painting ds room tomorrow.
Can't believe it's November tomorrow! H x0 -
Hi H,
Hope DS is feeling much better.
Yay to the grant money arriving and to the £5 redemption x0
