Fitbit warranty

I purchased a fitbit surge in February 2016 I had a 2 year warranty there is a common fault with these and I have had 4 replacement watches already .the fifth has now gone wrong and fitbit do not have any replacement watches as they no longer sell them . They have offered me one in a smaller size obviously it wont fit or a 33% discount on a newer model but a cost of £200 or a replacement another fitbit of a lesser value and without the capabilities of the original one .

Where do I stand I think they should either replace with the higher model or refund me the original cost .

Any rights you have are with Amazon not Fitbit (unless it was a marketplace seller, then your rights are with them not Amazon).

Whoever you claim off, no you are not entitled to the full price you paid for it, you have had almost two years use out of it (albeit various replacements) and any refund is likely to be deducted to take that into account.

Where you may have a problem is that instead of originally going to the seller to give them an opportunity to sort it for you, you went direct to Fitbit, thereby taking away the retailer’s chance to rectify the issue for you.

I know people hate Currys but I bought OH a Fitbit Flex from there when they were new and when it had a problem they just refunded me as they had no stock. Just last week with my charge 2, which was just over a year old, the strap was falling apart, popped back to Currys and they swapped it for me there and then, I was fully expecting them to want to go through Fitbit to just get new straps but I had the choices of full refund, exchange or pay the difference to upgrade to a newer model.
