Hi guys,
Just had the email warning of the price increases in January and I'm wondering what to do next.
My contract (12m) is up in January, so I'm a free agent after that anyway. Currently paying £37.98 a month for unlimited, and my line supports around 66MB - which I'd like to keep. I.e, not downgrade on the speed. Should I stay and haggle or are the better options out there?
I'm a Sky TV customer if that makes a difference and to be quite honest I haven't had any problems with BT in the 11 months that I've been with them.
Any thoughts?

Sky Fibre Max for £30 a month is a good deal.0

I also had the email, despite being on a promo deal for a year. Called them up, they were not willing to do anything for me other than fix current price if I take out another 18 month contract. Contract runs out in May so I am having to carry on with it at the increased price, as otherwise they request back the YouView box apparently - £2.50pm over next few months is much cheaper than buying a new YouView box, but still leaving after May... hate it when companies do this. It’s more annoying that I actually quite like the service they give.0

Yeah, this is what I'm worried about... I took this contract out this year because it was only for 12 months. And as for the YouView box, mine was on eBay before it had even arrived! So they've no chance of ever seeing that again.
I guess I'll have to just swallow the price increase and wait until I am completely out of contract and then just walk away? Shame because I've found it to be a great service on the whole.0 -
