Queenjess - hope you see this as I really struggle to quote on my phone! My little is 18 months now and is only in the last few days reducing comfort feeds. You know what is best, always trust your instincts and do what works for you. I was never going to bed share but back at work full time with an hours commute each day getting up five times a night wasn't a wise option! As for nursery; she went to the childminder at 10 months and never has a problem going to sleep there. Anyway if you ever want a chat happy to pm x
Thanks (I can't figure out how to quote on my phone either... the option never works..). We went back to the nursery to fill out forms etc which made me feel a bit better and the other day hubby had him most the day so he couldn't feed and he was fine (he caught up in the evening..). I think it'll be ok, but just might be a struggle for a bit, will see how it goes. Am encouraging hubby to spend more time with him and so I am spending less (and getting my long list of things done round the house) whilst hubby is on holiday so he isn't quite so attached to just me (in theory...).
Just taking every day as it comes at the moment and trying not to stress too much about it.
At least I am part time (3 days a week) for the first 2 months, so we have some time to adjust.2025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Just popping in to wish you all a happy and fun few days whether you celebrate Christmas or not_party_:dance:.
Been absent from the thread for ages:o but have now had a quick catch-up. Congrats to all who have managed to make money this month especially when there are so many other things that have taken up your time:T:T:T.
Hugs to all who are struggling with life's problems at the moments. Try to look on the bright side. Easier said than done, especially in my own case where life has chucked some real nasties my way recently:(. Been without all but the minimum of electrics (in an all-electric house::eek:) since the coldest, frostiest days earlier this month. The emergency electrician who eventually came out practically 'condemned' our 1970s wiring:eek:, says we'll need a complete rewire asap. Am managing with just 5 sockets for the whole house for everything that needs plugging in with instructions not to overload the sockets with more than one item at a time per socket. Cooking has been a nightmare, no cooker point in use either. I need one of the sockets for the pump that drives the oil boiler for our central heating and water. I need one socket for the router etc as our landline phones are cordless and need charging up. When the electric is off the phones don't work at all. The fridge/freezer takes up another one although I switch it off for a bit when I need the socket for something else.
Goodness knows what we'll be eating today (it's only the 2 of us and I've got a lousy cold so don't feel hungry anyway). Good job I didn't buy a turkey, eh?:rotfl:. I just have a single electric ring and a Tefal Actifry for cooking (though not at the same time, need to juggle the sockets) plus had to go and buy a cheap emergency microwave. Went against the grain spending the money even though it was the cheapest I could get as I never use one normally and my ancient old one went to the tip months ago:mad:.
Sorry, didn't mean to moan on what should be a happy time for one and all:o. I hope Santa brought you everything you hoped for:santa2:
Time for a cuppa and then recharge the laptop before I need to cook anything;)0 -

Hope everybody had a lovely day yesterday/today. It's been a hectic couple of days for me, but wouldn't have it any other way. The house is peaceful....for now.0 -
CBC that sounds like a bit of a nightmare. I also have an electric only house and when we had a pretty cut list year for about 4-5 hours, I really started to understand the implications of that! I have a very small understanding of how annoying that is...
Will you be able to get a rewire done quickly? Sounds pretty intrusive; I hope it doesn't require too many hours or anything (I've never really had electrics done so really have no idea....)
Glad to have you back on the thread though; I miss your chat.2025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Ugh - that was meant to say "power cut".. only on my phone and stops thing now won't let me edit...
Trying to rock baby back to sleep at same time. Woke up and he was burning up.. hoping it's just because he insisted on cuddling up to me as close as possible (plus teething). Had to take a layer off him and now sat up in bed with him on my lap almost fully asleep.. can't sleep until his temp feels more normal. Think it's coming down now, but was a bit frightening to wake up to that. :eek:2025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅
