UPVC door has dropped

My door has dropped and I'm trying to adjust it but I can't seem to get it right.
The key can be removed and put in without any problems. It spins left and right also.
The handle is toit enough that it isn't flimsy and fall down.
Any ideas how to fix?

The company who fitted it should adjust it for you as part of their after-sales service.

    Ours certainly did.

We moved in over a year ago so unfortunately don't know the installers info.

    That's a pity.

However, any local fitters should be able to do it for you - just not for free.

Thanks. Someone is coming out to look at it over the wknd which will be at least £90.
I know it's easily fixable, just not for me!

Usually the adjustment is on the hinge. In my case it simply requires a hex key and screw clockwise for up. If you had posted a photo, I am sure someone would have been able to advise.

But the adjustment screw can be hidden behind a cover plate that has to be removed first.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Mr S is reasonably confident that he can adjust our doors. if necessary, after having been 'talked through it' by the fitter last time. However, he does have an engineering background.

Thanks. I discovered that useful link but was still not able to open my door.
I'll have another go at adjusting it tho.
Does anyone know if the key should be on lock or unlocked whilst trying to fix?

Are you saying you can not open the upvc door or you can adjust the hinges to make the door open ?

In your 1st post you mentioned the key turning and the handle. Has the door/lock mech broken maybe or have i read your post wrong?
