The apples will be nice stewed with sultanas and a little cinnamon if you like it or you could even stew a few plums and apples together, although I don,t know what that mixture would taste like.0

That sounds great for the apples, thank you Primrose. I love stewed fruit, especially when it was free. Cinnamon is excellent for adding a bit of interest to things.0

I've decluttered books n dvds to the hospice shop today.Still tons of stuff, but it's baby steps n all that"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Have been lurking for weeks, reading along and getting great motivation from everyone here.
Heaveups of 'stuff' decluttered and lots of that has been gifted to others/charitied/gumtree'd, etc..
Slowly yet surely I am getting our home far more clutter free, which in turn is much easier to keep clean! :j
Also streamlining finances, work, commitments.. A happier, calmer life is emerging!
Thanks for keeping my spirits up when they flagged, your thread has been a real pick me up x:D"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -

Morning all
Thought I should do my bit to re-ignite the thread too.
I have begun C prep as I am making lots of stuff this year. I'm considering making to sell too as a bit of a sideline. So crackers are under way, as are cards. I have got some dried provisions in like cranberries ready for making edible gifts nearer the time. I have got my flip cap bottles ready to sterilise for drinkable gifts too. I have a roll of cellophane and a few wicker baskets to make up hampers for the couple of bigger gifts I give.
Bargain seeds from wilkos the other week too at 10p or 30p a pack so can spend an Autumn/winter evening planning crops for next year.
Have good days all
