Asda Over Charge - What's the latest policy?

I am waiting with bated breath as I have an asda home delivery coming this morning. This was after there were lots of problems with my last home delivery and I have been promised £10 off this shop! I have to phone the store this morning to remind the lady and she will do whatever she has to do at her end. I am not holding my breath however as I wrote about 5 or 6 letters all of which went unanswered!!!
I also wait to see how well they do with my order (lots of mistakes last time and poor dates on most products)0 -
I had exactly the same problem with asda on my first delivery....they forgot to deliver the fridge/freezer/fresh items and when I realised (which was literally 1minute after the driver left) I called them up but they wouldnt turn back around and come back to deliver them....they delivered them the next day (had the cheeck to try and charge me a second delivery charge) and clearly the fresh stuff hadnt been kept temp controlled (mushrooms had gone all funny). Gave them a second chance at the request of the manager and was equally appalling. Did use tesco for a time but the quality of the produce was declining over time. Now use Sainsburys and not had any problems...they did deliver 30mins late the other day but called early on to let me know and ask if this would be ok, they also gave me a £10 voucher for use on my next shop without my asking them too (they have delivery promise). Although they might be fractionally more expensive we have found the quality of the food (esp fruit/veg) to be better and the service (1hr delivery slots etc) to be far better than its other rivals0

I have just been on the Asda website but can't see any mention of this, does anyone know if they still have the policy to give a £2 gift card?
Thanks,

Asda Pharmacy
They tend to always prescribe the incorrect form of medicines for us or give us incorrect info when our order is in stock. I usually call them before i leave the house to check they have what my prescription says is in stock. when i get home my family members tell me Asda have prescribed either wrong form or type of medicine. I ring them and ask them to send a taxi with the correct prescription - they refuse so i call in and demand to speak to store manager - result get a £10 voucher. This has happened a few times to me usually due to the pharmacists being overloaded and some inexperienced working there.0 -
Our ASDA overcharges a lot. Definately the worst of all supermarkets in the area. I even make a point now of checking the receipt after leaving the checkout. You're virtually guaranteed one of the "deals" will be wrong.
What you get from the customer service desk differs depending on who's on it. Ranging from nothing but a refund of the difference (and tutting!) to being given a full refund and then the item for free.
Never been given a gift card though.0
