You know you need a reason because the one you have won't wash - you bought the wrong thing. Curry's might be nice to you, but I doubt the messages on here will be.

    Hi all,

What is a general reason that works to get a refund on a tablet product from Currys?
    It has a fault.
I recently bought it but realised apps like Whatsapp don't work on it.
I have already opened it, it's only a few hours old and no damage and still have the original box etc.

Did you buy it in store or online? If online then you can return it under distance selling regs. If it was in store then you can try back at the store but they are under no obligation to refund you.

Is there no way I can return it to Currys for a full refund?

Yet another example of how people these days dont take ownership for their own mistakes.

I thought this too, makes sense one to be there, but not on my friends samsung. Unsure if there is a mic socket though, but told us he can't use it for skype unless typing text?

I have a hp 7 stream, and that has an audio jack that supports a mic and headphones, but no build in mic.

OP why not tell us what happens when you try to use it or install it ?
  • You wouldn’t get a refund from a decent retailer. You’ve got no chance with that bunch of shysters.
