Car wax / polish

Hi guys

I spend a fortune getting f my car washed and polished and mini wallet. 23 pounds.

I rather do it myself. Can someone recommend a decent wax , police etc ? Is it easy enough to do ?

You want the Police to wax your car?

Rather do it yourself, do you know howto wash it properly?

£23 for a mini wallet, is it real leather?

I use Poorboys black hole, its great, and one of the few that can be used in sunlight and is easy to apply and polish

finish with poorboys wax and sealant

I use DoDo Juice Purple Haze (for dark coloured paint) and the shine is amazing. The wax "protection" also seems to last for ages.
Quite a hard wax and a bit difficult to apply but it's well worth the effort. Very little required to achieve the final result. Not exactly good for wallets though as it's not cheap. Could put a good shine on your helmet in spite of that.

Why bother using a wax and a sealant ??

You only need one or the other.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest perhaps he is actually getting the car hand waxed / polished rather than just a wax in your local eastern europeans car "shampoo"?

    For £23, I doubt there'd be much of a difference ;)

A wax on / wax off would only take 30 mins tops. They'd be well paid at £19.50 extra.
