Sounds like you need to get the work inspected by another dealer, somebody who can be an expert witness.

How did you pay for the car?

Is the wheel corrosion around chips? To progress further, you would stand a better chance of claiming against the supplying dealer.

Maybe try writing to auto magazines, twitter, Fb...

you could always get an independent inspection
  • I know this has been a few years, but about to buy a superb L&K with a warranty.

    What was the outcome?

In the 9 years of ownership of my very well cared for Octavia, I had:
New engine, (they tried to charge me 6k for this)
    New clutch pack (DSG)
    ABS pump
    Interior alarm sensor
    Coolant bottle
    Coil packs

My alloys had been repaired before I took delivery so they refused a claim, later got them done myself.

My last Octavia vRS I had for about 9 years, I had a couple of issues, sensor died a couple of month out of warranty which Skoda kindly replaced free of charge and I had to have a coil pack replaced. Otherwise no issues at all.

I've had my new vRS for about 18 months and no issues and loving it.

A lot of taxi companies use Octavias and Superbs and always speak very highly of them; reliable, low costs, spacious and well put together.
