Long post for the 'target setting' one - but I promise they'll be shorter going forward! :D x

[*]You will aim for 15 NSD's. Will monitor
[*]You will pay to your debt/savings first. And live off the rest. ok
[*]You will drop one Christmas outing/party Xmas meet up and gift swap with aunt changed from pub lunch meet up to coffee and cake here. Only other 'Xmas' outing I have is a (short) day out with bestie - used to be all about shopping, but now it's just a natter and lunch - all I bought last year was a book as a present.
[*]You will take your lunch to work every single day that you are there. if I'm in all day at school#1 they give me a lunch voucher :) Most days I'm at home - and usually eat leftovers/ whatever needs using up. Children all take packed lunches - they don't even have school Xmas dinners as they don't like them!
[*]You will not go to any sales in the month of DDD. ok :)

Debt destruction: Aiming for DFD (exc BTL mtge) of 10/2018 - fingers crossed OH gets another job next year!
Exterminate one bad habit from your life for the first 10 days. Will 'hide' facebook on my phone. Will keep messenger on there as lots of people seem to communicate by that as opposed to text/ phone!

Clear up, clean up and take control. Clear some space in your surroundings by removing 31 items this month - ok - 0/31 so far Clean up your way of talking to yourself. Let yourself sparkle. Take control of your finances, your time, your habits, and your health. - Dec sees me with an opticians appt and a GP apt (last time I went to GP was maybe 4.5 years ago?)

Explore your local area – get out and walk, - ok

Mental health.. Do something every day this month that makes you feel good: Write down 4 gratitudes each day.

Budget
EVERYTHING before you start the month

Food £450
Social £120
Gifts £125
Fuel £65
Make extra money £50
Evaluate the year you have had: what was good, and what was not so good. What did you do well? What was beyond your control? Now look ahead and plan 5 things to go for in 2018.
- will do
Remember
that this is a difficult time for many. Allocate £5 of your food budget to spend on food bank items

Exterminate - I can't think of anything for this. I don't do Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or anything like that and never have, I've never played a computer game in my life, I don't watch lots of tv either. I do enjoy reading but I don't spend hours a day doing it so I just can't think of any one thing that saps my time that I can give up.

I don't really do social media, or play games, I'm going to exterminate 'differing', so rather then take forever to get round to doing a task as I'm over analysing what I have to do I'm just going to get straight to it.

I'm also going to exterminate needless anxiety.

NSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,
• Could I join back in for December please. I lost the will to live this month.

What are your December budgets? Do share - accountability throughout the month + hindsight at the end are very powerful tools.

Food - £300, down 10% to encourage using up; roast chicken for cmas lunch; but I'll not scrimp on food that dd needs. Foodbank will get £5+ of this plus my share of the 'pot' (coins we find on the floor through the year - we had a huge £15.07 this year, so £5 is mine)

Travel - £275 (maybe 75 can be reclaimed). Dd and I are going oop norf to spend a few days with big sis and will go even forther norf to see some friends over from Spain. Also going to visit mum x2. Plus usual bus travel.

Dd activities to pay in Dec - £185

Presents, fairs, charity shops - £140

Nowt allocated as 'social' as only have 1x kiddie party (present bought already) and 1x social at a friend's house so will buy drink from food budget.

• Exterminate - I will give up binge watching programs on my iPad. I can lose hours over it.

Food Bank - local collection at work for the food-bank. I'll pop stuff in there.
February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
NST no. NSD 4/15
• Would try and sort out budget etc in the next few days, now that my Mum is now home from hospital.
