easyjet punctuality

I am flying out to Prague soon and flying back late and need to be back to Gatwick on time so that I do not miss the last train.
Is an hour from arrival to railway platform enough ??.

It is probably a coincidence but every time I have used them I am late and not just a few minutes. (I do not mean once or twice)

The usual excuse seems to be crew availability. A simple soul like myself wonders how they can be short of crew at a large hub like Gatwick.

I could comment on the patronising/condescending attitude of the crew as to how lucky passengers are when they finally find crew.
As if it is the passengers fault the airline cannot sort out its rostering.

Were they a train company we would be applying for refunds. LOL

why fly with them if your not happy with the crew or the service?
Im sure they are not your only choice for a flight.

I think perhaps you have just been unlucky with past EZY experiences.

I have not experienced any delays through EZY over recent years. The only thing holding me up has been long queue at Gatwick immigration- and those mainly down to people who don't seem to understand how to use the electronic passport gates.

Without hold bags to collect I would have thought that under normal circumstances one hour between arrival and being at the station would be just fine.

My daughter did have a three hour delay last year on EZY coming back from AMS and that was put down to weather and crew shortages. Fairly rare though I think.

Of course no one on here will be able to tell you for sure as anything can happen on the day. Fingers crossed for you.

Last flights of the day are often late due to the cumulative affect of delays.
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.

Flight times and living south of the river makes it useful. Sadly smart wings do not seem to fly daily in winter time.

Last time I used them another regular flyer to prague said he used to use BA but got annoyed with BA loosing his luggage too often.
Was not impressed with Easy jets lateness either.

They dont fly that route daily in the Summer. I'd rather fly EZY any time.

I like the fact that you have free check in allowance if you want it and being able to check in at the airport without penalty although I am sure that will change.
