Surely the whole point of black friday is for a supplier to ship double the expected stock. This is why it is before most peoples Nov payday. They don't do it to give us a good deal, they do it so they sell more. Eg. They have enough room in their warehouse for 10 of an item, so in Nov they increase stock to 10 of something that they know normally would sell for Xmas. They put it in Black Friday sale at a lower price than normal, though still making a profit. So they sell those & top back up to 10 in Dec, when the "I've got to buy them something" brigade does their Xmas shopping.

They have now sold 20 items when without black friday they would only have sold 10. THEIR supplier now gives them extra discount because they are selling more. And that doesn't even touch on the items in stock over 12 months that their accountant has written the value of down to zero, so any of that they manage to sell is now profit.

As long as we understand this then black friday is a good thing. Don't & you land up paying for what will become unwanted tat.

Feeling a bit put out, as not paid til end of the month..

I hope your joking because if you need to wait till pay day to be able to afford to buy something then your in financial trouble and shouldn't be thinking about black friday deals with no plan on what you were going to actually buy!
