Judi, I'm surprised the police are taking it so casually, they could be doing it to lots of people.
I'm more surprised this 'interview' will be over the phone.... what happened to our local police station? What happened to the personal service? Gone with the wind, i say, gone with the wind....
Judi are you stalking the postman ?
Must admit he's lovely but not my type, too young for a start...He was my postman for years and i had a lot of parcels. He was my chief source of elastic bands when i used to Eb*y. :D No stalking involved, just a friendly note on my front gate "M please ring the bell i want to pick your brains". Of course, if one of the neighbours had read it they would have probably thought it was a bit odd but there you go. Hell hath no fury like a Mother whos child has been scammed! You may call me Miss Marple if you like.:rotfl:

Done nothing but nurse Little Miss all day and even that wasnt right. She is as grumpy as her Grandad and thats saying something. Grandad sent me a message saying how much he was missing her so i sent him a video back with her screaming her head off.

Fact is I need to be a bit selfish too and and if the poor dear has have online for 6 weeks then so be it.
No, if you were being selfish, you'd be saying "I'm going to be out of action for 6 weeks, you'll have to make some other arrangement to get your groceries". As it is, you've offered a perfectly viable solution.

I would also venture to say that the Doctor wouldn't be putting you on the waiting list if you didn't need it doing.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • The two sheds that were gracing our front lawn, not the new one, the one the other side, have been collected, very nice chap. I noticed the way he loaded the stuff on the lorry, very neat.

The cleaners have been, lovely clean house, the wet room looks great.

Now I have a problem. friends daughter has just had a little girl. I really do not want to buy a load of fabric, would it be ok do you think to use whats left from Denny's quilt...... to make the baby a quilt? I have to admit its mostly blue....... even buying fat quarters would cost me around £10.00....problem over, I have just counted up the fabric and I do not have enough anyway, so that solves that.

Two orders in one for another bag and one for a base for a bag I made previously. They will have to wait until after the holiday.

Fish and chips for supper tonight.........good job its Friday I cannot be bothered to do anything else.

    Evening folks.

I’m still ministering to my poorly DM, she is improving but feels rather weak still.

I took the opportunity to dash into town (not really a dash on the number 6a bus crawling along very busy roads) to buy a new tablet for DM. She had a very small and old mini tablet that wasn’t being updated anymore, and she found it too small to read websites anymore. The fruit shaped shop was very busy but I had ordered online so just needed to collect it. She’s so happy which is enough for me!

Then I trekked down to the small Christmas market, the larger and closer market wasn’t open yet, to buy some ‘snow kisses’ for DM. A blast from her childhood.

Now it’s enough. It’s dark and cold and I’ve got a book to read.
