Oh the only reason I was worried about drilling is if we want to replace it / change it in a couple of years (or if it rusts sooner!) then we'll have holes in the tiles that don't match up unless we get the exact same one?0

We have had bathrooms modernised a few months ago and I read lots of reviews on this same topic , I went with the Simplehuman shower caddy they are free standing in the cubicle also have the ones that are connected to the shower they have a 10 year guarantee not cheap but shop around we got a good d al on ours X0

Thank you - i think we will get that one when we do the ensuite but this is for the bath so think we would knock a free standing one over and would have to get one that fits exactly to the bath corner0

Has anyone bought this one from Bathstore? https://www.bathstore.com/products/flow-double-corner-wire-basket-476.html0

I bought a stainless steel one from John Lewis when my bathroom was refitted about 4.5yrs ago. It was my 2nd stainless steel purchase as the one I'd had in my previous property had never rusted. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

I can also testify to JL stainless steel ones (ours is brass and s/s with and had a 10 year guarantee). Ours is 12 years old and still looks like new.
Not this but same materials https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-contemporary-brass-and-stainless-steel-2-tier-corner-shower-basket/p1467237?navAction=jump look for the rust resistant note in the description.A curvaceous, contemporary shower corner basket made from quality, rust resistant, stainless steel plated brass with concealed fixings.0 -
as everyone has said, stainless steel or brass, not cheap but worth it.
we had
simplehuman at Dunelm
adjustable and attaches to the shower head holder, looked great after 4 years when we moved (left it for the new owners).0 -
I was looking at JL but they seem quite small for the price? Is chrome-plated brass still as bad as buying chrome?0
-
This one is quite big but is chrome-plated brass, not SS or just brass
http://!!!!!!/2A72sfM but it says "Romans shower baskets come with a 10 year guarantee and will not rust."0
