    You been drinking?

Put your specs on and re-read my posts. Where have i stated that the 20k should (or is to) be raised?

Am stating that the article the MSE employee is stating that the Budget changes are listed in does not outline the changes I've stated (twice) above. (The JISA limit if I have to repeat yet again!).

Sometimes its really not worth posting factualities on here.

I'll await an apology from you and Le Loup
    .

No - just one of far too many forumites that seems to give a 'thanks' when their favourites post anything - no matter what nonsense it is.

Maybe the LISA is already too administratively complex for providers without changing the limit. I did wonder if they would remove the penalty for early withdrawal and just stick to loss of bonus. Or if they would move to a number divisible by 12 or matching the JISA limit. Still no mention of extending the life of the HTB ISA either...

The two schemes are a bit of a dogs breakfast - why not merge them or align them a bit more eg

Property limit £450k for both - the HTB ISA has a lower limit outside London so is virtually worthless in much of the south east outside London

Increase the age for opening a lifetime ISA to 60 and allow payments in up to that age - why stop bonuses and investments at 50 but limit access until 60.

Align the use of both bonuses so they can be used towards your deposit - why have different rules?

Just make it simpler Phil! It might also get the bigger players to offer the lifetime ISA - it's a joke that the only cash LISA provider is Skipton BS.
