My address, not my name, parcel delivered..
Have had a mobile phones sized parcel delivered today by Hermes.
My exact address but not my name (or anything close to my name).
I'll be opening it when I get home but if the named person knocks, should I hand it over??

Best not hand it over - god knows who they are!
If you answer the door, pretend it's not your house, the home owner is out at the moment and you don't know anything about parcels etc .... optionally ask for their details if you've got the b4lls.0 -
Why would you open it?
Would it not have a return address on it? If so call the company and check.
If someone does come calling deny all knowledge, unless you want people running up debts on your address.0 -
No details of who sent it on the outside so opened it. It's not a phone just a low value novelty item from a company who only have em email address but it did have the buyer's email address so have emailed him.
I think he lives round the corner. Will question him closely."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
