BP Bonus Nectar Points

Marksfish

For about a year now, I have been having issues with BP bonus points being added to my account. At one time, the bonus points were applied at the same time as the base points. This has not been the case on my account for many months, it is very erratic. I sign up for the offers on the Nectar app and fill up (I travel 50- 60,000 miles a year, so is worthwhile). I now have to screenshot the offer, wait 35 days days from the end of the offer, then approach Nectar on Facebook to have the bonus points added. They have now stopped responding on Facebook and I am struggling to get bonus points added. They blame a glitch with BP and BP blame Nectar.
I have complained via Resolver to Nectar and have been told "it will be sorted, we can see your points on our system" and I have complained to BP who added my missing points as compensation. That was 3 months ago and I am still having issues.
Any ideas what to do next as I can't find a better scheme for me and my Allstar card. BP have confirmed several times this card is accepted for accruing points, most of the other retailers won't on their loyalty systems.
Thanks

it always states the bonus on the receipt when i do the offers, haven't used them for over a month now though0

Not for me, the receipts only show the base points and total, even when a offer is activated. Nectar state they can see the points are a valid claim, but won't add them automatically as they should and make it very difficult to have them manually added now.0

i will try later this week they have sent me 250 bonus0

Hi.
Same with us but with Sainsbuy's.
We doubled up our Nectar points on the 19th November being told that there was now expiry date. We have today learnt that all of our points that we saved over the year have been lost because we didn't spend them by the deadline of 21st Novemebr. (Last offer). This was not made clear to us instore otherwise we would have spent them on the day.
We called them and mr unhelpful said that he could not do anything for us. Not even re-instate our original points.
Where do we go from here?0 -

You really should have started your own thread rather post on someone elses especially since your issue isnt relevant to the OPs.
Maybe consumer rights or the peaise vents and warning is more suited.0 -
I didn't know they expired either... We collect ours throughout the year to spend on the Chrimbo shop, would be a bummer if the £160 odd on the card was to disappear because of expiry.0

I haven't seen it on the Nectar site, but The Guardian (http://!!!!!!/2zZTXWc) says:Are they time limited? No. Nectar points remain valid for as long as you remain active in the scheme, although any accounts that are inactive for 12 months will be closed and those points lost.0

Think there are cross purposes here. Marksfish you won’t lose the points that are on your card.
The point Shimeld is referring to is where you can go in store and swap up to £20 in points for a voucher worth double in certain departments. So I went in with £20 of points, swapped it for a toy department voucher and got my son some free toys. You could get the vouchers between 8 and 21 November but had to use the vouchers between 15 and 21 November or lose the value
I thought the ts&cs for this one were really good. It was clear in store, clear online and clear in the adverts (including on mse)0 -
Thanks for the clarification :beer:0

The normal points don't expire we have close to £200 worth and not spent any for a long time.
Cannot find a deal where using points will actually be cheaper.
When using the points any discounts do not usually apply, so cheaper to use cash.
May end up just using it for the shopping.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
