Thank you Susie for the call and checking in. Dropped you a text Tea.
Thank you for all popping in. The children are all good. They are handling life much better than me.
Sorry for the silence. I haven't had anything positive to say and didn't want to off load the negative here.
I hope you're all keeping okay thank you again xx“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”9 -
Good to hear from you WB and thanks for the text, it's very much appreciated. Glad to hear the children are all well and happy. I'm doing so little I've hardly anything to say either but I'm sure nobody on here thinks what you say is negative. Have a lovely day with the DC's, enjoy the weather and take care of yourself. xx6

The smalls are so happy. It makes me feel guilty for not being the same. Not being the best I can be. It's made me sure how important my own appointments are. Some things in the background shaking the scene and I feel like it's been a huge step back MH wise. It's definitely a battle I'm not currently winning or in control of.
Smalls have kept up with crafting and things. I didn't buy Easter eggs because I'm rubbish. But they made cards and things for me/each other.
Asda due soon with this weeks delivery.

Good to hear from you hun. I'm sorry it's such a tough time for you. I wouldn't beat yourself up for not buying Easter eggs, the kids aren't going to need the chocolate (and there are cheaper ways to buy it than in eggs).
I know there are MH resources online (some links here for instance), have you had a look to see if there's anything that you could use?
I hope the background problems settle down soon, I expect they are more of a presence in your life than you let us know. And don't worry about being 'negative', if you post something and change our mind, you can always delete it.

You ARE being the best you can be right now, with everything that is going on - and that is still everything that the smalls need from you right now - love, care, being there for them, ensuring that they eat well, and that they are secure. There are kids out there who will have had big fancy easter eggs but NONE of those other things - now ask yourself which is more important? (Clue - it ain't the chocolate!)
If it helps to talk about stuff here, then you know you can, but equally if you'd rather not having it in black & white in front of the world, that is also all god. Just so long as you are all OK.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Glad you're all safe and well. It must be so hard at the moment for anyone with MH issues, it's such a frightening time. I'm sorry to hear background influences are making things worse. As the others have said you're doing brilliantly despite everything and I'm sure the smalls are just happy to have a fabulous mum devoted to them, worth more than an Easter egg any day. Take care and stay safe xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Background issues are just rubbish and the "rules" surrounding it are even more stupid and annoying. On top of other stuff just not needed.
My phone's being sensitive again. Ordered a new charger and it doesn't seem to have fixed it. The repair shop isn't open not that I could get it repaired right now anyway.
On a positive Asda came today. £44 spent. Fresh food topped up along with nappies.
Cherry will have a look thank you. All face to face appointments have been cancelled and they just gave me the crisis number and basically that's it. No real support.
It's sad I've realised how much my own and youngests appointments where so vital to being able to speak to other adults about the stuff going on.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”9 -
Thank you for all the kind replies. I don't feel they are deserving right now. Just the basics of parenting is getting done. Fed, clean and school work. No extras x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”6
