Youngest one struggling still not quite as bad number wise, she hasn't really moved out of bed since Christmas day though. Started some tamiflu alongside the antibiotics so should it be 'viral' there's something there to kick that too.

Sleep is still very minimal, only when there's someone else to watch

Other two being very understanding. It does make me feel guilty though.

I haven't really posted because not much MSE wise to say and feeling quite low so didn't want to bring the negativity here x

We have some gift vouchers from Xmas - I think these will be used on more practical items than on 'toys' - Bedding/bedroom items etc they want and need. I hope this is okay with who sent them. We received some lovely gifts thank you for all the lovely cards too. We never usually receive cards or gifts other than to/from each other and the odd ones from school. It made a lovely change and all the smalls loved them.

Despite youngest being so poorly (we just except that this is a part of normal day to day) it's honestly been the best Xmas I can remember. Not only good but the happiness shown by smalls was amazing.

I really want to work out budgets and things and try to squeeze in a weekend at the caravan around my birthday. Hopefully if youngest is well enough x

I think that if the gift vouchers are used for something that you and the wee ones want and will make you happy, then whoever sent them would be very, very happy with that.

Good to hear from you again, and that youngest is at home, but sorry to hear she's unwell and you feel down. Concerns for her and tiredness will undoubtedly take a toll but it's just for a while.

I wonder if the DLA (I think that's the one isn't it?) might allow you to pay a sitter for a few hours so you can get your head down?
