It's been awful. One thing after another. If it's still the same tomorrow I'm going to go back! It's not as bad but it's still really noticeable. I don't want to go out the house because it's so embarrassing:o

We are on chicken mash and veg for dinner. Because I want to strip it down and make curry and casserole meals and make soup. Youngest wants to bake so will make full use of the oven why it's on I think. Depending how I feel she might have to wait till tomorrow or Friday x

I googled it and apparently the swelling can last 2 weeks or more. :( However there are things to help like putting a warm wet towel on your face. It sounds as though you are best taking it easy and keeping up the fluids... baking will wait if you don't feel up to it.

Can you take an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen? My breathing is still affected by my recent cold and I do find that helps. Mind you, you are probably all dosed up already. I was going to suggest a nap before the older ones get in but there's not going to e time for that now is there?

I suppose I'm expecting too much for it to be gone then :o he actually said he'd never seen anyone so swollen with it either so I guess it won't be a quick thing to disappear! I actually felt quite a bit better this morning but as the days going on I can feel it creeping back in again.

Didn't bake. Do have chicken on. Have spent the afternoon doing phone calls and things I can do sat down!

Well we have had dinner but nothing much else. Been back to the out of hours. Have another set of meds to try and resolve side effects of the antibiotics.

I had to pay for my prescription. Has anyone had to do this and successfully claimed it back?

Sorry can't help you with that query, but why are you having to pay for a prescription, surely you qualify for whatever it is that means you don't? xx

I noticed in the chemist the other day that scripts are £9 per item now  I have 5 lots of tablets every month so that would cost me £45 if I didn't have the pre payment certificate. It's shocking. :(

I know team £18 again. I've always had an exemption card but haven't received on this time  he said I had to pay but there is a way to claim it back. I was supposed to look after the visit Sunday and forgot. But now it's for £45 I need too!

It mounts up doesn't it. When you're better and feeling up to it chase the exemption up. I'm sure you'll get the money back if he said that but I bet that's a frustrating form filling exercise :(
