I hope the antibiotics kick in soon too because I've gave birth 3 times with no pain relief and felt better than I do now :rotfl: I felt ridiculous calling out of hours but he said he'd never seen anyone's face that swollen from sinitus before hence sending me to hospital. I'm really struggling to do the basics“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

Morning
Thank you jwil x
All 3 smalls off school. I have cancelled my own appointments this morning and asked if the community nurses can come to youngest at home. Got to say I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. The original issue isn't any worse. Isn't any better yet either. However the antibiotics are brutal!
Need to call the council tax too. When I paid over the phone last month I must have got setting the direct debit back up wrong and agreed to the 1st of the month instead of the 28th as it's gone out today so will bounce. Should have opened my post earlierExpensive mistake.
There's no other plans for today other than basic keep the littles fed and looked after.
Have a good day. Wrap up warm it's freezing!“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
All sounding dire.

I feel a bit fed up of illness now. I don't have time to be doing nothing useful
I've sent you a whatsapp Beanie x
Kids schools say the attendance is shocking last week and this morning again. Even some of the staff are into their 2nd week off. It must be doing the rounds and it definitely hits hard.

I know you wont feel up to this yet, but check with the bank what day you set up the DD for. They got mine wrong last year and it was their fault not mine so I was given some compensation.
Hugs to all, and speedy success for the antibiotics xxI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I managed to get through. Totally my fault
I set the direct debit up online and apparently it gives you the option to choose. I must have missed it
They advised waiting until it bounces and shows as a returned direct debit on my council tax account before setting another up with the correct date. As if they did it today it wouldn't be for the correct amount. What a mess.
I still look like elephant man. One of the antibiotics (clarithromycin 500) is making me feel sick. I'm pretty sure it's that as the other ones I've had before. Trying to ride it out because I'd rather feel sick than look like I do currently:o“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Loads of sympathy heading your way - I really hope the antibiotics work soon. Feeling sick is the pits.
I'm sorry the DD wasn't the bank's fault, but well done for trying. It must be hard to talk.
How are the children? xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

It all sounds pretty miserable WB
Hope you and the smalls start to feel better soon.
Pain about the council tax but with everything you've been dealing with I'm not surprised you missed setting the date up correctly. Any chance the bank will cancel the charge for you?
Look after yourselves. xx0 -
Have you seen the Calpol advert on TV? I feel like that's my smalls right now. Awful to say but it would probably have been easier to send the older 2 to school
As soon as their paracetamol wears off their temps spike but other than an annoying cough right now they are fine
I've set them up making decorations with craft stuff so I can continue sitting doing not very muchI wish I had their energy :rotfl:
