Several children cry when they are dropped off at school but in my experience they are fine five minutes after their parent leaves. The staff are really kind to them and they are so busy they don't have time to feel upset. Their little friends tend to rally around too when they see they're upset; it's really sweet :). I hope littlest DD enjoyed school in the end.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better and the swelling is going down. I hope you get the prescription money back soon. Prescriptions are so expensive. I also hope you find some cheap Christmas jumpers/tee shirts in charity shops.

  • Evening.

It's been a stressful one. Early morning call resulting in us needing to go over to the children's for some tests. Some numbers aren't were they should be. Hoping it's a quick fix as she is a lot better so hopefully it makes it easier. Really really hoping she still stays eligible for the med regime we are on. At least until after Xmas.

Anyway We are just home and the smalls are just eating dinner. We Will definitely have to go back and get it sorted.

Feeling pretty worried about a lot of things. But it is what it is. We are still so lucky to be where we are and there's far worse going on for others. Have to keep reminding myself of this because it's easy to slip back down the dark road.

Back to now. Smalls are eating then having their baths. I have some ironing to do and need to pack the grab bags again as they've been well used the last few weeks.

Hope you all have a happy weekend x

Sorry you had to go back to hospital again :(. I hope littlest DD is okay. If she seems well then that's a good sign anyway. Try not to worry too much, although I know it's hard not to worry.

Sorry to read that WB :( I can only imagine how stressed and fed up you must be with the whole thing.

I know you said it was a young carers party - is there anybody who could take the older 2 so they don't have to miss out.

Fingers crossed you get to stay home tomorrow so you can get yourself sorted for the next few days, just in case something does crop up. xx

AS tea says can someone take the older two to the party?
Do you have a contact number for the young carers team?
Try to speak to them in the morning x

Going to see if the friend who I help out with school runs etc will take the older two I hadn't thought of that. Youngest hasn't settled to sleep yet. The older two are tucked up and snoring though.
