Sorry for the short reply earlier todays been busy.

Thank you for the messages about Amazon wish lists but I don't have one. Well other than the list you add too and it tells you when the prices decrease/increase.

But thank you so much. I did get the smalls some gifts. I think it's been lost in all my posts of meal plans and things.

Yes, that's the one. I think you can make a list to share with others and people can buy off there and it gets automatically sent to your address without us knowing your address/personal details.
Definitely think about it and share the list privately with those who've offered if you wanted to.

But even on your budget you are doing so well, especially that you've bought them gifts. I wish I had your organisational skills :)

I think actually posting a link to a wish list can lead to problems, I'm sure I've seen that happen here before. However, so many people would love to contribute... I'm sure something can be worked out. People could perhaps PM Wannabe?

Yes. Certainly not a good idea to post a wish list.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.

  • Today's been busy.

Managed to balance the bank account up again after forgetting youngests nappies etc.

Have ordered the food shop to come tomorrow. As I have no choice. I can't afford to buy dinner/lunches etc. Need to check I can make the older two porridge here and let them eat it in the parents room. If not I'll think of something to cover the few breakfasts we are still here for them two. On the same note youngest gets toast for breakfast (but still wants me to make her a pack lunch for lunchtime and she eats dinner from here)

    28 Days Breakfast.
Porridge. 100g made with water feeds the 3 of them.

3 x bags of 1kg porridge (£2.25) some left over for baking

28 Days lunches - Sandwich, yogurt, sultanas (maybe something baked)

    12 x wholemeal bread (6 Slices a day) £6.60
    30 cheese slices £2.97
    800g wafer thin ham £2.98
    84 x Fromage frais (1 each a day) £5.60
Sultanas x 2 bags (15g each a day) £1.98 some left for baking.

    Snacks (baked biscuits etc)
    SR flour x 2 90p
    Plain flour x 2 90p
    Sugar £1.28
    Eggs x 30 £2.36
Jam x 2 56p (sometimes used on sandwiches or porridge too)

    28 days dinners
    1kg mince
    1kg chicken
    20 sausages
    5kg potatoes
    1kg onions
    4 x 1kg mixed veg
    6 x chopped tomatoes
    1 x kidney beans
    4 x baked beans
    1 x tin spaghetti
    1kg dry spaghetti
    2kg pasta
    2kg rice
    1kg spread

This will make Bolognese/lasagne/curry/casserole/toad in the hole/cottage pie/mash & sausage. I will batch cook and portion it out into 28 days and then into 3 portions.

    Other things
    Squash x 2
    Washing up liquid
    6 toilet rolls

    Food shop £50.53

    Am@zon nappies etc £38.49
    Tonight's dinner/this morning's breakfast & a coffee today :o £14.90

I still need to get washing powder and some toiletries (can't manage a month without these)

  • Tomorrow is another busy one.

I have something on at school to attend and I also need to sort the shopping delivery and things. Have got someone that is free to sit with youngest while I go to the school thing. I really didn't want to let the older two down so this is a relief even if it makes the day busier.

Hope you've all had a good day despite the miserable weather!

Thank you again for all stopping in x

Morning WB :) Hope you all got a good nights rest. Great that you're able to go to the school event. I'm sure the change will do you good and the children will be thrilled you're there.

Any noises being made about getting home yet? It must be coming up for 2 weeks you've been in there now. :(

Hope today is a good one for you all. xx
  • Morning

Possibly Tea. Waiting to find out if the community nurses can visit more frequently. It will mean more running around to appointments and things and nipping back up for IVs but will be much easier than being in here food wise and for the older two. Fingers crossed! Other than Ivs everything else can be administered at home now. They are very impressed at my log keeping of numbers and things and the very detailed 'plan' of how we work it at home so we can do normal things but fit everything in. So I'm hopeful we will be home sooner than if we didn't already have a lot of things in place.

DD was very nervous about tonight's event. It's not like her but it's something she wants to be included in going forward so fingers crossed for her too!

I need to get washing powder. I thought it would last a few more days but there's only 1 wash left.

Hope you all have a lovely day x

Pretty sure that it breaches forum rules - things like this are usually taken directly to PM for that reason I believe. It ultimately comes down to what WF feels comfortable with as well, of course.
