Not sure if you're logging on at the moment WB, but just in case you're reading, hope you're OK. I think you said DC's are off school today because of voting so hope you all have a lovely day together. xx0

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Afternoon, Sorry I haven't been reading/online
I guess I have no real excuse other than feeling sorry for myself.
Anyway smalls are off today so we've been to the Salvation army. We have some cleaning to do as always and I want to try and sweep outside but it just makes me mad that it's always me that does it! But I hate it being a mess.
Smalls are all well and are looking forward to half term.
Some of our seeds we planted seem to be springing into life. Fingers crossed. I need to get a washing line so I can stop using the dryer so much even if it's just the bedding and bigger things I hang out it will be 3 less loads a day!
I have nothing MSE to report other than we haven't spent at all - less said about the messy budget the better. Once the half term is over it will be a new month and fingers crossed everything will be straight and I'll be in a better head space.
Thank you again for all popping in

Glad all is ticking over.
Enjoy half term.
Great idea to get a washing line.

Good to hear you're all OK
I've not had a dryer for years. I gave it up for a dishwasher but since DD left I hardly use that either. I love pegging out but must admit having clothes hanging around in winter drives me crackers. You definitely need a washing line if you're doing 3 loads a day - just think of all the electric you'd save
Hope the messy budget soon tidies itself up again. You've been doing so well recently, hang in there.
Enjoy the rest of your day. xx0 -
Thank you
You going to the Van for half term Tea?
I think we will try and do the boring stuff for the first week when all the schools are off and try and do the parks etc in the 2nd week when they are (fingers crossed) less busy.
Have a huge ironing pile to catch up on and have some more bits that have been out grown to go to the SA. Will need to get a visit to Primark in for the girls some leggings and underwear when I can fit it in the budget. Luckily nothing else is needed though. DD has managed without a 'proper' coat so will hopefully last until the weather starts to get cold again now.
All the smalls have things on at school these next 6 weeks and I can't decide if I should let youngest do part time for the last term. They have lots of fun stuff on she would enjoy and it would give me some time to get things done easier too.
Can't believe how close to half way through the year we are and that another school year is nearly over!

Yes, we are, but we always split holidays between a few days at home for DS and a few days away, to keep everybody happy. Not that he hates the van, but given the chance he'd rather be cooped up in his room on the Xbox.
I'd be inclined to let littlest go back to school and take part in some fun stuff with her friends. If it involves end of term shows etc. it would also be some nice memories for you to have as well.
I can't believe we're only one term away from summer holidays either. Where has this school year gone  xx0
