Thank you
Youngest still very much the same and another night of no sleep. So today will definitely be a slow day. Waiting for the community nurses to call back to see if they can do a home visit.
We have cleaned and things, now the smalls are drawing and I'm having a cuppa. Going to run out of coffee though!
I've meal planned the best I can with what we have in. Once the budget is on track I really need to do a bigger food shop as we've run out of quite a few things again and after another week of eating up what's already in everything will be pretty bare.
Yesterday's party went okay and we made it back home before the rain started.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday

Hi WB
Hope the community nurse can fit a visit in to DD. What coffee do you drink? Mum gave us some Azera to try and hubby will insist on asking for a cup of Aljazeera which is a bloomin' news channel. xx

Hope DD improves and the nurses manage to pop round. Hopefully tonight will be better sleep-wise, you must be exhausted.
Take care xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Tea Nescaf! gold blend is my favourite but I only get it when it's on offerI do like Azera and the other shiny tins but they are even more expensive :rotfl:
Nurse has been. Have a feeling we will end up in a&e. Have got our things ready and have sent out texts to see if older two can go to a school friends if needed.

:rotfl::rotfl: That's so funny (from a distance, bet it drives you mad in real life)!
Doesn't bother me if we're inside Cherry but I do cringe when he shouts "can I have an aljazeera coffee" from the shed when the neighbours are out :rotfl: He knows it's not called that but he says it's easier to say than the real name
That's our usual as well WBalthough we don't drink much coffee.
Glad the nurse has been out, will they pop back later on to check DD again? Fingers crossed you don't have to go to A&E, but it must be a weight off your shoulders to know you've got some support and help for the older 2 should the worst happen. xx0 -
Morning.
Waiting for the gas man to come to the boiler this morning. While everything else is going on we've also had no heating/hot water. Heating not a real problem but no hot water
Youngest has been given some extra steroids. Delightful behaviour on the horizon then and the no sleep and wanting to eat her own arm will commence by tomorrow no doubt.
Speaking of food. Have defrosted the last lonely chicken breast. Going to make some of it into a curry bulking it up with some chickpeas/lentils and the other half of it into a casserole/pie. Hoping it will give a few meals to help see us over the next couple of weeks. Will have to bake something snacky while the ovens on to help cover youngests steroid fuelled hunger.
Hope you're all okay and have a lovely bank holiday

The boiler is repaired. For now. I don't think he has much faith it will last as he said he'd call me just before 8pm to check it's still working!
Anyway. Curry etc is going to go on now. Youngests extra steroids are kicking in and she's already finished the box of cereal, 4 slices of toast, 2 biscuits and a flapjack! Along with her usual breakfast and lunch - and we won't mention the tears.
The weather seems to have dried up so considering getting out for a walk later before bed time. I think some fresh air will do us all some good. We have to go to the salvation army tomorrow to collect something so will get out and about then too.

Hello W
No chance that the housing association will replace the boiler? Here ours are all being replaced for more efficient ones. I think that councils are getting grants for making houses more energy efficient (put in insulation too and that was for privately owned properties as well as council ones) but that might just be Scotland.
I've had to have steroids for breathing problems and God do they make you hungry and hyper. Really hope it calms down for her (and you).
Sending you hugs. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
