So DS and DD said Panto was okay but not amazing. They said some of the children kept getting up and generally messing and made it hard to concentrate on what was happening. This has made DS be in a right mood this evening. The joys.
Youngest had a fab Xmas party at school. Even after an incident this morning so I had to leave her in tears! Boo. I really hope the school get a new principal found quickly and order is restored. Or I'm really considering transferring them elsewhere.
Not much in other news.
Popped into Lidl spent £3.48.. (milk, juice, eggs, sweets)
Money just seems to be slipping out at a scary rate!
No more snow, although the snow we had is just all ice now! The main road isn't too bad though.
Tomorrow we have youngest's Nativity. £2 needed for a ticket. I'm sure I have something else on tomorrow but I can't remember“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

I agree with the comments about teachers' presents. The sentiment and thought is much appreciated but never expected. The most precious gift I have received as a teacher was a still life picture drawn by a child in my class and given to me at the end of term. Twenty years on I still have that picture and often wonder how that child is getting on now.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Morning Wannabe,
Hope you're ok? Have a lovely day and keep warm xx0 -
Morning,
Busy morning here. Smalls to school and youngest nativity. Then took youngest straight onto an appointment where we didn't get the news we wants. So a rubbish day so far really.
Anyway to take our minds of that we are sat enjoying hot drinks, well hers is warm and she has a gingerbread.
So definitely not a NSD. Although least of my worries.
Hope everyone has a good day x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Oh no to the rubbish day.

Meanwhile hot drinks and gingerbread are the order of the day... yummy!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
