Bank Balance £0.92
Pharmacy for stronger than off the shelf painkillers Beanie. Worth every penny today I have managed to get everything done I needed to.
More spends however £3.50 on children's paracetamol and ibuprofen. DD is burning up and has a headache. She's not feeling good. We just went to Mr T for it as it's the nearest place that was open and does a cheaper brand. She wasn't impressed at walking out for medicine
Other two bathed and reading/drawing in their bedrooms now and DD bathed and feeling sorry for herself watching TV.

This week reminds me why I need to build an emergency fund/pots for things once everything is sorted

An emmergency fund of even a few quid is always good.
Not long til March though & you can put a few quid away for that

Not long indeed

Have put DD in my bedroom (applied a red cross on the door) and told the other two to stay away :rotfl:
Really really hope she doesn't pass it youngest, that would be a total disaster

Oh dear hope DD has a good sleep and the meds kick in for her. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Oh no, hope it's just a 24 hour thing. Let's hope she's selfish and doesn't want to share her germs.

I think it's just a cold. It's never 'just a cold' to youngest though.
They've been designing birthday cakes today - hope they don't get their hopes up I'm not that good :rotfl: They had fun though. They are all on countdown now
Have lifted chicken out the freezer for tomorrow. Will make some into 'chicken nuggets' for the smalls and make some spicy for myself (because I really could eat takeaway so this is the next best things :rotfl:) Will make flatbreads and have with salad and things.
Meds have kicked in on DD and her temps come down. She's got warm juice and is drawing in my bedroom. She's up late
but it is weekend!

I'm glad DD's temperature has come down, I hope she sleeps well and feels better in the morning. Dinner sounds good
