I know I am worried
just hope I get someone nice tomorrow
Well I've not long been home. Got into bed and someone just knocked at the door! By the time I'd braved going to see who it was they'd gone
Who even knocks on someone's door at this time then doesn't give them chance to answer!“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Maybe they thought you were going to pay at the shop on a card - my local authority have payment cards and when used at local shops they take 5 working days (or more) to appear in the council's bank account whereas telephone and online payments show next day.
Payment by standing order takes 1-2 days.
How did you pay? Have you got your receipt number to give them?
I can't see how they can say that you have done anything wrong, as US says, as long as it is paid on the day the rent is due then there is no issue.
Make sure you also let them know if you have claimed Housing Benefit as that will make a huge difference and if awarded will put you ahead of your court order.0 -
I paid online using the credit card. Yeah I have the transaction number etc and have emailed them the receipt email.
So hopefully that's okay.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Hope everything gets sorted with the rent.
Also hope your ok, did you manage to get any sleep? I noticed you posted at 1am then 6am.0 -

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Glad it's all sorted. You could do without the additional stress. You're doing well though. That's a lot of plans for December! Don't do too much, have a good day and (most of all) take care of yourself.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
