Yesterday was a lovely day, no stupid early morning here, I saw some on SM that where up at 3-4am :eek: my neighbours couldn't have been much different I heard them
Mine slept until a more normal time of 8.30.
We enjoyed pancakes for breakfast and read the thank you letters left from santa
Smalls enjoyed their gifts thank you to you all. We played the board game/read books and ate a picky dinner of what ever they wanted out of what was in
Early baths, pjs and more stories before bed. Lovely quiet day and enjoyed all round by all three of them.
Today has been a quiet one too, cleaning and things. I feel 'under the weather' think its all the stress of everything catching up (and probably a painkiller too much
)
Smalls are all tucked up into bed though and I'm going to get on the sofa watch call the midwife on catch up and try and get an earlier night than usual. Ready to come back with plans for 2019!

Glad you all had a lovely day

Hope you feel better soon. I think most of us feel a bit ugh after Christmas.
Have a good day WF xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Sounds like you all had a lovely time Wannabe. My treat to myself is the same as yours. On Boxing Day evening when all the cooking has been done and the final guest has gone home, the family are instructed not to talk to me and it's feet up and Call The Midwife

I love called the midwife, I watched last night when the smalls had all settled. It's the only actual TV we have watched! The smalls have had their DVD's on since Xmas morning :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

There won't be any more payments to debts before 2019 so..
Going into 2019 the debt stands at
Council Tax £375 (£25 behind)
Rent arrears £1545
The minimum payments for the council tax will be paid off in 30 weeks (need to catch up on the £25
)
The minimum payments for the rent means it will be paid of in 62 weeks.
I want to be debt free for Xmas 2019!
I also want to save an emergency fund.
I haven't cancelled October's holiday because when I called to cancel I lose the deposit just the same as if I cancel nearer the time (so long as there's at least 6 weeks notice) So while it's not possible now a lot can happen before August.
I want to survey. I have all 3 smalls birthdays at the end of Feb/first week in March.
I want to be healthier. I need to eat regularly and be more mindful of myself and not just the smalls.
Most of all I want us all to be happy

Sounds like an excellent plan
And it's do-able that's the main thing. Good idea to hang fire with the holiday, as you say a lot could happen between now and October. I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Oh. W. When I think back to how things were when you started your diary this is truly amazing. I am so proud of you for all that you have achieved under very difficult circumstances. I have every confidence that you will all be healthier and happier in the next year. And don't cancel that holiday. You deserve it and it's something for you all to look forward to. xxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
