It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thank you
Sorry for the quietness Youngest has been quite poorly and feeling sorry for herself.
We are still being MSE, one supermarket shop at £33 but included some birthday things for youngest. Not sure how much exactly and haven't had time to sort itAll the bills have been kept on top of though and we've ate from home etc. Only real extra cost has been taxi journeys to see medical people for youngest, along with medicine and ice lollies from the shop
Hope everyone is well and will hopefully be back posting soon. She has been seen again this morning and seems to have turned a corner and back on the up.
It's just hard to see sometimes and hiding from the world feels good.

Glad to hear the wee barra is picking up.
Really hoping she has a lovely birthday.

I also find this time of year, her birthday especially difficult.
I guess sometimes its hard when you consider the daily struggles she faces, how 'different' she is to her friends and things.
I think when you're pregnant you just sort of expect everything to be okay and get a bouncing happy baby at delivery. Which we did have!
Then for things to change after only 3 weeks and from then everything is a constant worry. Trying to look back and remember milestones but every one of them 'in hospital' or worrying.
I wouldn't change youngest for anything. She is amazing. However I do sit and think why? Why should she struggle so much to do things others find so simple. Why should every invite out etc be overshadowed with the worry of her picking yet another infection up.
I'm sorry if this offends anyone.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
W, what you're feeling sounds pretty natural to me & I don't think there is anything in your post that could possibly offend anyone.
