I think being happy and feeling safe in your home is priceless.

I can't believe how much your school charges for everything! I'm hoping I haven't got all this coming. We've had few requests so far but it's only the first year.

Jwil it's been horrendous since changing over to an academy and going by the comments on parentmail this week I'm not alone with being unhappy at the cost.

I think once the rest of the decorating is finished and I've done my bedroom we will be comfortable and happy here for a long time. Once the kids birthdays are out the way I will get back on with the house things.

    Afternoon :)

Chicken has been made into casserole/soup/curry and some garlic chicken. Waiting for it to cool so I can freeze. It's also used up most of the older looking fresh stuff too.

Smalls are being brought home by the neighbour save taking youngest out. I have hot choc and their dinner waiting for them. Put their pjs on the radiator to warm so they can have early baths again and get into warm pjs.

Early night again I think. I feel so much better for being in bed earlier. Even if it does mean I wake at 5am :o :rotfl:

  • Sounds like the perfect evening hun.

I love locking the door to the horrible weather and being all cosy and snug in front of the TV. xx

    TF I loosely follow this

I just use what we have at the time :o Only getting fresh lemon when it's cheap :o Sometimes I use none, sometimes the squeeze jif stuff. I use normal potatoes etc. I basically just make it up depending what's in the fridge :rotfl: :o

That sounds so good. I'll try that first time I pick up some cheap chicken.
Hope you're OK down there. All our schools are closed and the advice is not to travel unless absolutely necessary. It's actually beautifully sunny just now but was snowing heavily about 15 minutes ago.Still deep snow and a bit of a wind picking up.Best not to venture out, I think.
