I'm constantly told by my 13yr old son that i'm an over protective mother and it's not fair my mates do it are allowed etc, his recent one was i'm over protective because I won't let him go and hang out with his mates in town at night and then get the last bus home at 11pm:eek:0

Magic juice given, and a more permanent IV should hopefully mean the local can do more.
Called into Mr T on the way home, just at the right time for reductions it seems. Spent £9.38 but lots of fresh fruit/veg/salad/cheese reduced. Also 2 cooked chickens, a packet of bacon and mince.
Also picked up some daffodils reduced to 40pNot really a need :rotfl:
Didn't have wrapping paper though
Smalls home from school soon, so just having a quick cuppa before the mayhem starts. DD wants a friend over to play and she's asked if another friend can have a sleepover one night “Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Well done on all your supermarket bargains and 40p for the daffs is fantastic.0

Exactly! I mean who the hell would allow there teenager to hang around streets until that time doing goodness knows what, so I will continue to be over-protective (insert rolling eyes), he will thank me one day.0 -
Oh I missed that Pennywise
Sorry.
See where we are a lot of small ones even from around 4 are wandering around until gone 9pm. Even later in the summer. However I don't let mine out without me supervisingOr I have everyone in here to play. Some days on a weekend they can be here from breakfast until mine are coming in for baths with no one checking on them!
It's also not a desirable area hereI still worry when my sister goes out and she's 22 :rotfl:

Oh well, hopefully back to plodding on in the morning
Going to attempt to do DD's stay and play myself
