My SOA and diary of my debt journey

Started the day with a trip to Asda to get bits and bobs, along with child's packup stuff, still I only spent £12.55 which isn't too bad I suppose.
Hubby has just told me that his employer is only gonna pay him statutory paternity pay when the baby is born, even though he knocks his pan out every day, gets crap wages and is the most reliable worker there, so he's gonna look for another job, hopefully with better wages too, the place he works for is a family business and the owner is a multi millionaire and he wont even pay hubby full wack for 2 weeks (he only earns about £220 a week) aarrgghh I'm so mad.
But rant over, lol, it's a lovely day outside, I'm optimistic about the car sale t'moro and I don't have to work for the next 9 months :rotfl::j Bankrupt 6th October 2009 :j:beer: To a Debt-free Future :beer:0 -
Hasn't been a really good day spend wise, hubby had a day off work and we decided to go to the beach and spent £40.
On the plus side I've started listing more items on Ebay and 2 of them have bids on them already, albeit only £3 but every penny counts right. I've still got lots more to put on Ebay so fingers crossed.
I'm waiting for £24 to be transfered from my Paypal account to my bank account, from 4 items that I sold last week.
Guy coming to see the car in the next hour, I really hope he wants it, that'll be £2k in our pockets xx:j Bankrupt 6th October 2009 :j:beer: To a Debt-free Future :beer:0 -

The guy bought our car,a little less than we wanted for it but still enough to get rid of some smaller debts, we're so happy, I went shopping and filled the cupboards til there were bursting, all for £91, which will do us for ages. I've even managed to put aside a little extra to buy hubby's kids their xmas presents, they each want a football shirt, so no matter what happens between now and Xmas, at least the kids have a present.

If anyone is reading this, do you know how I score through certain amounts in my signature, I don't want to just delete it, I want to see that I've paid it off, iykwim.
Thanks in advance xx:j Bankrupt 6th October 2009 :j:beer: To a Debt-free Future :beer:0 -
I'm doing really well with my ebay items, I've listed about 18 and 6 of them have bids on them already with several watchers, just hope the other 12 have a bit more activity in the next few days.
Some of them still have 4 days left so I know it's early days, but I'm very optimistic:j Bankrupt 6th October 2009 :j:beer: To a Debt-free Future :beer:0 -
I'm going away for a few days today, which I really need
I've got a few items that are selling on ebay and will be finishing while I'm away, I think I'll have to find an internet cafe just incase, if the listings finish as they are, it will be another £20 in my pocket.
I spent the night alone last night, hubby was travelling yesterday and wont be back til later on today so I'm not gonna see him til Wednesday when I get back.
I've been coming on the dfw board every day religiously and I have to say it has really helped me think positively for the first time in months but I just wish I had found this website when it first came about as I don't think we would be in this situation, but as they say onwards and upwards eh!!

Thanks Lindsay, I'm just going to my mum's caravan with my mum, son and little sister, no where special but it's a holiday and a cheap one at that:j Bankrupt 6th October 2009 :j:beer: To a Debt-free Future :beer:0
