Early exit fees from energy supplier on sale of property?

We completed on the sale of our old property on 15th November. When I received the dual fuel final energy bill today, for this property, I have been charged £60 (£30 per fuel) for leaving the fixed rate tariff early (it ends next month). I can't understand why, in this situation, would I be charged this. I couldn't leave the account open until the fixed tariff ends next month because I will be paying for the new owners gas and electric. But cancelling it on completion date, I am charged for leaving early? And I certainly wouldn't have delayed completion until the dual duel tariff ended! So, do I just accept this £60 as I can't see anything in PFP Energy's T&C's.? Or do I complain to the energy supplier? And where do I start? I have never done anything like this before so I am not sure where to begin and what to say.
