  • I haven't much to do today as I did a lot yesterday.

Put flea treatment on my pets.
Make a pasta bake with some leftover steamed veggies I have in the fridge.
    Wash the pet blankets.
    Vacuum downstairs.

    Put up the Christmas tree?:)

Nelski - you can make soup in the slow cooker???

oh yes tjp its the only way to do it in my opinion :) today i wii just chuck in what is in my fridge which today is some carrots, leeks, mushrooms tomato puree and a potato all chopped up into the slow cooker with about 500ml of veg stock. Leave all day on low and either leave chunky or zap with a blender stick :D
This works with any combo of veg so I never waste a weary looking left over.

Whoops I've obviously not been motivated enough to update:o;)
I decided today to start "Christmas cleaning", also decided if I was cleaning it would be good to start in the kitchen and combine with a much needed re-arranging. Oh my word, I am now completely done in and it's not finished. Just need to get myself motivated enough to continue tomorrow........:)

Well I have the day off as I'm working late night shopping instead. I moved so many Christmas trees yesterday I smelled like a toilet duck by day's end.
Today I'm going to allow DH to take me out for breakfast :)
Then tackling the big job to sort out the storage loft cupboard thing, find the Dec's and sort a load for the tip/ charity shop.
So tears before bedtime we won't have the room in the next house for half the junk that DH had to keep just in case. It's a job we have both been putting off as there are boxes of his parents belongings that it's time to also face, and it's better dealt with now then when we are under the stress of moving.

Well I've officially lost the plot according to the family, I've basically moved my kitchen into the spare room, for a kinda Life laundry event. All that's left in the kitchen is the white goods kettle and my coffee cup and teaspoon.
There is method to my madness that as much as I decluttered the kitchen I can reduce further I'm sure and Christmas is the time I will probably use the most of my kitchen kit, so what's ever left in the new year can go.
So today's task is to deep clean the kitchen while it's empty and get out of my PJs even if it's just to throw some old trousers on.

It’s time to resurrect this thread. I need to get my backside back in gear.
Today’s jobs that I must do are:
    • Ironing
    • Change bed linen
    • Cut DH’s hair
    • Freeze down beef stew portion
I will report back later with my done list :)

If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters
  • I'm waiting for the second load of laundry to finish so I can put the tumble drier on when I go on my walk.

I have to vacuum later, I have to do it daily because of my pets, not that I always do that!

I might do some batch cooking later.
