OP, if you'd really rather stay with BT, then why not simply move to Plusnet? You'll get BT service (hah!), the same BT nerwork, but at PN new customer rates.It's bizarre that you seem to think that negotiating a price with a provider is some sort of modern foreign phenomenon...
maybe I am just getting old - but I certainly remember a time when haggling over the price set by service providers was not done.
Do people haggle over the price of the services of water or power ? (I do not mean change providers at the end of a contract for a better deal, but to haggle over discount for there existing one)
I only ask the above question to find out if it is true - if it is, I will try it0 -

Yes back in the days of no choice .
You wont be haggling over a discount for an existing contract . You will be haggling over the price of a NEW contract or you will stick with your existing contracts price rises .Or you will be terminating this existing contract .0 -
