£170 offer for item from zero feedback buyer only registered a week ago. Am I right to be wary? I'm thinking of blocking them or ending the item.

I don't necessarily see it as a problem assuming your seller preferences are set tightly to exclude buyers with no PayPal or cards registered etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. They could have just registered with Ebay to bid on your item. Ebay items often come up when you do Google searches. If you have it cheaper than everyone else then the buyer may have just joined for it.
Just follow the normal precautions.0
