£170 item to zero feedback, week old buyer?

£170 offer for item from zero feedback buyer only registered a week ago. Am I right to be wary? I'm thinking of blocking them or ending the item.

I don't necessarily see it as a problem assuming your seller preferences are set tightly to exclude buyers with no PayPal or cards registered etc.

They could have just registered with Ebay to bid on your item. Ebay items often come up when you do Google searches. If you have it cheaper than everyone else then the buyer may have just joined for it.

    Just follow the normal precautions.
