Thanks Diz, have got the doubts in my mind today - have I done the right thing with the men?

I hate birthdays, always have. I get depressed to think that I've lived another year and I'm in the same boat as I was last year minus the debt! I know getting shot of the debt was a big achievement for me in the last 12 months but I thought 2008 was really going to be my year.

Have been keeping myself busy today though and cut DS's hair with the clippers (he's not happy because I've cut off his mohican, but his hair gets curly as it gets longer), have waxed my eyebrows and am sitting here with dye on my hair. Have bought myself some lovely 'mango madness' foaming shower gel ready for my shower later and am going to chill out with a nice glass of red wine, the box of roses and ultimate force later on tonight. I've really got the hots for Ross Kemp and absolutely love him in ultimate force.

I think if he was one of my choices in men, there would be no choice.....

Being and staying deft free are great achivments in a year and you have savings. You were able to pay for a new lap top in a month. Celebrate the day.

With regards to men sometimes I dont think there is a right decision, and they say we are complicated?!

Well I've dyed my hair and had a lovely shower and I'm looking a million dollars ready for Ross Kemp later. It's the highlight of my week! Still no luck on my e-bay items. They are ending tonighy but no interest.

Have done rubbish on e-bay today. Only made £1.60 Hopefully tomorrow be better.

Aaahhh thanks girls. Its much appreciated. Had a very late night last night. J called in about half 11 and stayed until about two. I can't believe I've gotta go to work on my birthday. I've never had to do it before and it feels strange.

Have had a present off the children this morning. A bottle of shower gel and deodorant. I know it's not a lot but the fact that they used their own money to buy it has made it very special.

Had a new pair of shoes on Saturday off my mum. She always insists that I buy something 'sensible' and as I needed shoes for work I decided to get them. I love Clarke's shoes for work as they are just so practical but the ones I fancied were £45 so mum said she'd get them. Also had a yellow gold and white gold kisses and hugs bracelet last night off J which was something I wasn't expecting!!!!!!

OK back to business. Got 13 items ending on e-bay tonight and please let something sell. I hate it when they don't go I get so frustrated!!!

Am off now as I've got to call into the bank and pay money in to cover the DD's that go out today. Ex supposedly put the money into my account on Saturday but it's not shown up yet

Of course I'm sober Have had a lovely day today. Thw witch was off in work so I bought a birthday cake and took it in for everyone. I have some lovely jewelery off 2 of my friends and had money of another one. Also came home to more money in cards off family and my uncle had mowed my lawn for me.

Have got lots of items ending on e-bay tonight and I've got a bid on one item. It's not worth a lot of money but every little helps.

How was your first day back in work Diz? It's awful going back when you've had some time off isn't it?
