DS is 14 today and I feel old. He's towering over me and refuses to give me a hug for his birthday
I can see the disappointment on his face because he's already had his birthday present (he had it a few weeks ago after weeks of nagging). Think he thought the money tree in the garden was going to contribute some money for something else for him. I did give in and say I'd buy him a PS3 game on Wednesday when its payday. In the past I would have bought him a surprise but these days I'm trying to teach him the value of money.
He does need to learn that having the goodies today leads to a disappointing tomorrow. Until he does start thinking "What about tomorrow?", then he will always be tempted towards using debt."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Your right there Z.
Have just got back from the pool party to another 2 sales, one on Amazon and one on E-Bay. Still got some things ending today but no interest in them whatsoever.0 -
Had searched the house this morning for something that will make be big money on e-bay and found 8 items to list but nothing that's going to make me my millions.
AM seriously thinking about either doing a car boot sale soon just to get rid of some of the items I can't e-bay or boxing the whole lot up and trying to sell them on e-bay as a job lot for a car boot sale. I'd probably get more for them at a car boot sale so maybe I'll look into that.
DS is nagging me like mad to take him to JJB so he can buy a new Liverpool top out of his birthday money but I really don't feel like doing it. I'll probably give in before the day is out and to be honest with you I could really do with popping into Leo's to get a few odds and ends.0 -
Have found my money-making item. Bought the Times Atlas of the World years ago and hid it away in the cupboard because it was too big to fit on the book shelf. Have just had a look at one on Amazon and a used on is selling for £78 eeeekkkkkk. Have listed mine for £75 and also put it on e-bay for 7 days. Fingers crossed it'll make me a tidy sum

Things are looking up a bit for my e-bay sales. Got a few watchers on items that are ending today and tomorrow. Not selling for big money but every little counts.0

Another wet and windy Bank Holiday. What a surprise. I'm trying to look on the positive side of things though, got a lots of things ending on e-bay today so hopefully the bad weather will encourage people to stay in and buy my stuff instead.
Have got a bid on one item and a few watchers on some other things so hopefully people will come out of the woodwork today and make me some cash.
Not got anything else planned for the day. Borrowed a dvd from my friend in work so will hopefully get to watch that this afternoon.0 -
Hi GR hope you've had a lovely relaxing bank holiday. It's not rained here but it's been very blustery. Hope you've got some interest in your ebay. I love it when you log in and can see green bids

Wow what a find as well with your atlas. It would be amazing if you can get a good price for it. Ooh I bet you're a bit excited about it.
Going to have a bath shortly and maybe an early night. 'Maybe' lol
