Super day for you GR , done sod all hereexcept a small bit of shopping. DS keeps ruining his trousers or outgrowing them. At least they are less than £4 each. Decided to take today off and catch up at weekend or Tuesday. Thanks for your post on my thread really appreciated.

Planning to do some baking now with kids so will catch up later to hear of the latest batch of sales!!

Thanks Diz, I wish everything would sell straight away that's the only trouble. Have had enough of working now. Having a little rest. Really fancy a glass of wine but I keep telling myself it's too early in the day!

As for the energy - it's the multi-vitamins, I'm like a wet rag without them.

How was your last day in school, looking forward to your week off?

I didn't have a lie in today as the kids had school but it was so nice being able to wander round town instead of rushing. I discovered poundland. Never been in there before bought some packing tape and brown paper, some plug in smelly things for the house, some cat treats and a few named brand cleaning things. Spent £8 and was well chuffed. Will definitely be going there again.

Its DS's birthday tomorrow, he's 14 so I can't see there being a lie-in then either. I can't believe my baby is 14, I don't feel old enough to have a son that old.

Hi GR Poundland is great for ebay packaging. I buy the padded envelopes. 5 in a pack for £1. A bargain.
Hope DS has a fab day. What will you be up to? My DS was 14 in April! It flies by...it's not fair.
Have you cracked the wine open yet...
My last day at school was yesterday due to a pad day, so didn't have to go in. Just lazed around today really. Did pop into Asda for dog food and didn't spend a fortune. Woohoo!
Don't intend to do much next week GR. Have you got anything planned for bank holiday?

Got nothing planned for the weekend at all. Sometimes it's nice to do nothing. AM trying to keep my spending down, May has been a tough month for me. DS wanted a PS3 for his birthday and I promised him that once he'd saved £100 I'd pay the difference. It cost me £220 plus £45 for a game. At least I don't have to worry about getting him a present for tomorrow. I feel guilty though that he's got nothing to open. That's the trouble with giving them their presents early.

Got lots of money in my paypal account but don't want to withdraw it yet. It's payday on Wednesday and I'm hoping that I can keep going until then. I think there's also an Amazon payment due, but that takes a few days to reach my account.

Even with no debts I still need to account for every penny. Before my MSE days I didn't have a clue, but now I know where every penny is.

Morning all. Have had a good sleep and feeling nearly 100% physically, emotionally I'm getting there. Got to take DD to a pool party today, so there'll be a few hours out of the house for me.

Have got another 3 parcels to send off this morning and got another 6 items ending today, hopefully something will go!

DS is 14 today and I feel old. He's towering over me and refuses to give me a hug for his birthday :( I can see the disappointment on his face because he's already had his birthday present (he had it a few weeks ago after weeks of nagging). Think he thought the money tree in the garden was going to contribute some money for something else for him. I did give in and say I'd buy him a PS3 game on Wednesday when its payday. In the past I would have bought him a surprise but these days I'm trying to teach him the value of money.

Will be popping on here throughout the day so I'll catch up with you all at some point.

    GR x
