I am planning to travel abroad with my new girlfriend, but I don't want her to see my previous travel stamps.

For those, who asked which country I have visited... I was in Thailand for a month :)

Am I missing something? What's so shameful about visiting Thailand that warrants getting a new passport?
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear

I think we're all missing something.

I had a holiday in Thailand but didn't feel I needed to renew my passport.

Doesn't everyone follow the 'Shiny Path' to Soi Cowboy?:)

Must admit that in several trips to the Land of Smiles I've never done anything I'd have wanted to hide from my Mrs.....mind you she was carrying our bags a couple of paces behind me.:)

What mess? I am not looking for irrelevant responses here. Thanks to those who gave relevant replies.

    Irrelevant?

Why are you so intent on hiding why you went to Thailand?

I think any useful replies to your questions could be viewed as anabling or assisting in dishonesty.

I called HMPO, they confirmed there is absolutely no problem in renewing my passport anytime I want. As long as I pay the fees to HMPO, they are happy. HMPO doesn't want to know the reason of renewal either.

For those who are CRYING for why I am hiding something from my girlfriend, it has nothing to do with you, so good luck with your CRYING :)

Wonder how the tests came back, that would be a far bigger lie.
