Circulator pump won't turn on

Hi,
I moved in about a week ago and everything was fine until yesterday night. I have a grundfos alpha 2L circulator pump for my water and heating system that was supposed to turn on the heating at 4am this morning but it didn't.
I switched it off and on again, the lights turned on but after 1 second they turned off and nothing happened.
Someone with a similar problem?
Thank you

You need to have it tested to see if it has 240v at it, if it does it faulty but if it doesn’t you need to trace back to find the fault.
I assuming you have a hot water tank system, does the pum work when you select hot water?0 -
At first yes, the pump turned on when I turned on the hot water. But now it doesn't work even if I switch on the water0

Is there a cyclinder stat on the tank, if there is turn it up and try again, if it works then you need to look at either a zone/ mid pos valve, room stat or programmer.0
-
There is and I turned up but no luck. Nothing happen even if I turn up the room stat0

Not many more easy things you can do now, you need to trace the power to see where it stops. Does the boiler fire up for a short time when you turn it on.0
-
No I just manage to turn it on this morning but after 10 minutes it stopped and it seems dead now. I'm calling someone more expert than me to take a look. Thank you anyway0

What boiler is it, it may of overheated.0

Probably the motor in the mid pos/ zone valve or possibly room stat/ programmer.0
-
Most motors have a switch you can turn to adjust the speed, look and turn it up.0
